A practical, hands-on approach to chord construction on the guitar.   Beginning with only a few chord forms you will learn how to build virtually ANY nameable chord through a system of chromatic alterations.  Most importantly, we will discuss practical applications and proper voice-leading.  You should expect to come away from this workshop with the knowledge necessary to move beyond the rote playing of chord "shapes" and bring your comping to a professional level.

Based on the youtube examples, I thought there'd be a lot of material on developing melodic lines based on chord construction. There isn't... transcribing satin doll and the chord solo in the beginning would help. Otherwise, this class is a study in mathematical permutations.
